Washing & Primer

Our very first step to a metal restoration (also shown in the video above) is to apply our rust off solution followed by pressure washing every inch of your roof. After the roof is washed and rinsed, we then apply our Encase Primer. This primer is the glue that holds to your metal (even the rusted spots) and to the coatings.

Seams & Screws

Once your roof is washed and primed the next step is to cover all the seams and screws. All the seams are covered with Conklin Benchmark Basecoat and our spunflex fabric (2” & 5”). This process ensures that the seams are watertight and allows for flex when the metal shifts from season to season. Following this, every screw is accounted for and covered with Kwik Kaulk. While being thicker than our Benchmark, Kwik Kaulk maintains the flex needed for tough weather conditions and makes any screw impossible to leak. This process is applied very carefully and thoroughly by our experienced team.

Top Coat

Our Puma XL top coat is the finish to the entire process. PUMA XL is an advanced-technology premium polyurethane modified acrylic roof coating with a highly reflective bright white finish. It is designed as a two coat waterproofing application using Benchmark base coat.
